Roof Replacement

A roof replaced once, and done right.

Everything comes off so the decking underneath can be seen, not guessed at. You get the number in writing before the first shingle moves, and the number you sign is the number you pay.

When a repair stops being worth it

Most roofs give you warning before they fail. The question is whether patching is still buying you anything.

A repair makes sense when the damage is local and the roof is young. It stops making sense when you are paying every spring to chase leaks across a roof that is finished. We tell you which one you have, and we put both numbers in front of you.

  • Granules collecting in the gutters after every rain
  • Shingles curling or cupping at the edges
  • A ceiling stain that comes back after each storm
  • Two or more repairs in the last three years
  • Daylight or soft decking visible from the attic

Choosing a system

What the shingle line actually changes.

Three tiers cover almost every home we work on. The difference is wind rating and how long the color holds.

Questions we get every week

Roof replacement, answered plainly.

A typical single-family home in Chattanooga takes one to two days, weather permitting. Larger or steeper roofs can run three.
The roof is dried in each evening, so an open deck is never left overnight. If weather moves in mid-tear-off, we stop, seal what is open, and return the next clear day.
If the damage came from a storm, often yes. We document the damage and meet your adjuster on the roof at no charge. Ordinary age and wear is not usually covered.
We do not. A shingle-over hides the decking, voids most manufacturer warranties, and adds weight to a structure that was not designed for it.
The manufacturer covers the materials. We cover the workmanship for five years, in writing, and that is the part most roofs actually fail on.
